The Arts Education Alliance of the Bay Area is proud to sponsor the closing reception of the Inventing Our Future Conference.
You can also register to attend one or both days of the institute for access to a stellar line up of presenters and speakers. See the full schedule here.
At the closing reception, hosted by ACOE Superintendent L. Karen Monroe, we will hear from keynote speaker Jah-Yee Woo, and learn why she was named an Alameda County Teacher of the Year (it has to do with her integration of popular arts into her ethnic studies and history lessons). We will also be celebrating new graduates of the Integrated Learning Specialist program.
Then, enjoy some wine and hors d'oeuvres with leaders of Bay Area arts education.
Find out why we’re all so excited about arts integration.
Inventing Our Future is a dynamic two-day institute that brings educators and community leaders together to build collaborative relationships, enhance creative practice, and strengthen our commitment to educational equity and racial justice. Hosted by the Alameda County Office of Education's Integrated Learning Department, Inventing Our Future focuses on the future of education that we envision: one that celebrates ALL young people and shines a light on powerful and transformative teaching and learning.
