A collection of Bay Area Theatre Companies, Teaching Artist Guild (TAG) and Arts Education Alliance Bay Area are combining efforts to host an open call for Theatre Teaching Artists.
We are seeking theatre artists of various levels of experience with students of various ages (K-Adult), and we particularly encourage bilingual teaching artists and teaching artists of color to apply.
We will run two sessions; please choose either the morning or afternoon group when you register. There will be dedicated time for Teaching Artists who are seeking immediate work opportunities to demo their work within a supportive group, time for teaching artists who are entering the field and seeking more training and an opportunity for artists of all levels to engage with TAG on how to navigate employment at multiple companies and other related business and financial issues.
Info sheets on each participating organization and their immediate work opportunities will be provided to all attendees and any teaching artist resume submitted will be distributed to all participating organizations. For a full list of partners see below.
