The Arts Education Alliance of the Bay Area invites you to our first IN PERSON event in over two years! Meet other artists, educators, and arts education advocates as we honor key members from our community and hear from local arts education coalitions throughout the Bay Area.

Participate in the art making station, meet new people through our Mix & Mingle bingo, grab a beverage at our refreshments bar, or snack on appetizers

6:00 - 6:30pm

Arts education coalitions from the 5 regions of the Bay Area will share out highlights and honor key members of their groups

6:30 - 7:00pm

Wrap up your evening with us and stay connected!

COVID-19 Safety

Due to limited space and our COVID-19 protocols, we have a maximum capacity of 100 people for this event. We ask that all attendees only register if they can commit to attending the event. A note about our COVID-19 protocols: Masks should be worn inside and we will require proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test. Masks can be removed when outside and eating. Please do not attend if you are symptomatic. We thank you for your help in ensuring that our community can stay safe and healthy, especially those of us who are most vulnerable including immunocompromised, folks with young children, caretakers of older individuals, etc.

Directions to MOCHA

MOCHA is on the lower level of Oakland City Center, just up the stairs or escalator from the 12th Street Bart Station (exit 13th street). MOCHA is located on the right hand side of the lower level of the plaza. If you use Google Maps , you will get the best directions when you enter “Museum of Children's Art, (1221 Broadway Ave. LL-49) into the search field.​

Street and Garage Parking

Parking in the area is mostly metered street parking and paid garages. The Ace Garage/Oakland City Center Parking is located right next to the entrance of MOCHA. The garage is open until 10pm on Friday night.
