Renew in 2022 for Bay Area Arts Education

Dear Arts Education Community Supporter, Last year in response to the growing COVID-19 pandemic and economic hardships it brought on, the Arts Education Alliance of the Bay Area (AEABA) made membership to our organization free. Since then we've reimagined what being a "member" means by reducing barriers to connecting locally and regionally with other artists, educators, administrators and arts advocates.

In 2021, ALL OF OUR PROGRAMMING WAS FREE TO OUR COMMUNITY. We increased access with the goal of showing up for each other, committing to centering equity and racial justice in our work and amplifying the voices of emerging artists. Today we invite you to...

Renew your support for our creative community by contributing TODAY to the Arts Education Alliance of the Bay Area.

If every person who attended a gathering or opened an email this past year gave $15-25 today, we could triple our $5,000 goal of individual support (of course, any amount you're able to give will be put to good use!). Read below for some of the incredible things we accomplished together in 2021.

In 2021 we....

  • launched the San Francisco Unified School District Arts Community Collaborative

  • offered free workshops for 100 artists and educators to support their personal wellness and creative practice with ReFresh & ReFrame

  • broadened our board representation to increase our geographic, cultural and role representation

  • centered teaching artists and young artists through our Teaching Artist Think Tank and support of the San Francisco Youth Arts Summit

With your support, in 2022 we will be able to…

  • Continue to share strategies for centering racial justice & equity in arts education

  • Increase AEABA infrastructure & capacity to support local coalitions

  • Build regional youth & teaching artist voice & leadership

  • Improve AEABA communications to support local & regional arts education advocacy

I look forward to continuing to grow our Bay Area arts education community together,

Indi McCasey

Executive Director
