CCC is seeking an Exhibition and program coordinator, who will be responsible for programming and production, supporting exhibitions and projects, community outreach and research. The ideal candidate possesses strong project management, critical thinking, networking, and community engagement skills, with strong attention to detail, organizational skills and cultural awareness. This position reports to the Director of Galleries and Programs. Key Responsibilities: Exhibitions, Programs and Projects (70%) Play a supportive role in planning and implementing programs, exhibitions, and projects to meet our mission to elevate underserved communities and be a voice for equality at CCC Visual Art Center, 41 Ross, CCC Design Store and off-site. The candidate will be working on supporting “Perilous Playground” exhibition opening in August, related engagement and programming: • Work closely with the Director of Galleries and Programs to design and implement high-quality and boundary-pushing programming with deep community engagement • Produce bilingual programmatic and exhibition materials, including drafting, editing, and proofing curatorial statements, biographies, articles, press releases, newsletters, and other collateral, project manage translation of materials and institutional correspondence as needed. • Collaborate with the Director of Galleries and Programs to support in exhibition production - including installation, proper handling and protocol for artwork, arranging delivery, coordinating with artists, fabricators, shippers and resources. • Manage 41 Ross website, including posting updates, call for artists, and ensure excellence • Ensure project compliance and evaluation • Collect and report quantitative and qualitative data on exhibitions and programs: tracking programmatic audience, conducting audience surveys and evaluating program effectiveness, working with budget, documentation of programs through photography, video, and notes. • Comply with grant contracts: including draft and proof grant reports, meet project deliverables, data evaluation and collection • Assist with fundraising through supporting donor/member events, collaborating with development • Act as an ambassador to promote CCC’s mission and vision through staffing the gallery, giving gallery tours, presentations, tabling at events, participating in panels, engaging with partners at other events, and others • Manage and train volunteers, including assignments and scheduling • Support for Annual Gala as assigned • Other duties as assigned Communications (15%) • Produce content for outreach and programming, select images and visuals • Collaborate with the communications team to update channels on programming Community (15%) Develop and and maintain CCC’s outreach list; maintain relationships with a variety of arts, community partners, and patrons • Invite community partners, schools, and affiliate groups to CCC activities • Work collaboratively with partners to develop and execute auxiliary events • Build partnerships across sectors with community partners, businesses, artists, volunteers and other strategic partners to support CCC’s mission Required Qualifications • BA in visual arts, arts management, art history or related field, or a minimum of two years in an equivalent position • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking and proactive in internal and external communications • Possesses a proven record in program implementation and community engagement • Available to work weekend and evening hours when required • Bilingual ability in Chinese (spoken & written) preferred Physical Activities Required for this Position • Be able to do public speaking in front of groups • Be able to lift heavy objects (up to 25lbs) This is a temporary 3-4 month full-time contract, in person position. Chinese Culture Foundation of San Francisco (https://www.cccsf.us/)(also known as Chinese Culture Center or CCC) is seeking an Development Associate, an energetic and passionate individual committed to supporting the arts and the underserved. The Development Associate plays a vital role in supporting fundraising efforts and ensuring the financial sustainability of CCC. This position works closely with the Executive Director, Deputy Director and other team members to implement fundraising strategies, manage donor relationships, contribute to corporate strategy development, and support the overall success of the organization's development initiatives.The Development Associate is responsible for supporting the planning, organizing, and implementation of CCC’s key fundraising initiatives including Contemporaries program, annual gala, VIP and special events. This position reports to the Executive Director. Key Responsibilities: Donor Relationship Management: Assist in cultivating and maintaining positive relationships with individual donors and members, corporate sponsors, foundations, and government agencies. Support donor stewardship activities, including acknowledgment letters, thank-you calls, and personalized communications. Donor Database Management: • Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor records in the organization's donor database. • Input donor information, track interactions and gifts, and generate reports as needed. • Regularly review data for accuracy and integrity. Fundraising Events Support: • Collaborate with the programs team to plan, coordinate, and execute fundraising events, including annual gala, donor and VIP events with exhibitions, programs and other donor appreciation activities. • Assist in invitations, event production, guest registration, and on-site event support. Communications and Marketing: • Lead in the development of fundraising materials, including sponsorship packets, appeal letters, brochures, and newsletters. • Collaborate with the communications team to ensure consistent messaging across various platforms. • Assist in maintaining the organization's social media presence related to development activities. Corporate Strategy Support: • Assist the Executive Director in researching and identifying opportunities for corporate partnerships and sponsorships, and supporting with follow through. • Contribute to the development and implementation of corporate fundraising strategies aligned with the organization's goals and values. Donor and Member Communications: • Lead on drafting personalized communications to donors and members, including acknowledgment letters, updates, and impact reports. • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of communications to maintain positive donor relationships. Research and Prospect Identification: • Conduct research to identify potential individual, corporate, and foundation prospects for fundraising purposes. • Provide comprehensive background information and donor profiles to support cultivation strategies. Data Analysis and Reporting: • Assist in analyzing fundraising data and generating regular reports to evaluate campaign progress, donor trends, and overall fundraising performance. • Identify areas for improvement and make recommendations based on data insights. Financial Administration: • Collaborate with the administration team to reconcile donations, assist in budget monitoring, and support financial reporting related to development activities. • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures. Grant Research and Writing: • Conduct research to identify potential grant opportunities aligned with the organization's mission and programs as needed. • Assist in writing persuasive grant proposals, applications, and letters of inquiry, ensuring compliance with guidelines and deadlines Collaboration and Support: • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the executive team, board members, volunteers, and other staff members, to support development efforts. • Provide general administrative support as needed. Relevant coursework or prior experience in fundraising is preferred. • Minimum 2 years in development or membership position in nonprofit setting • Demonstrated passion for and knowledge of art and culture. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and ability to tailor messages and styles to different audiences. • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously. • Proficiency in using donor databases and fundraising software. Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce) is a plus. • Strong research skills, with the ability to gather and synthesize information effectively. • Basic understanding of fundraising techniques and best practices. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with design software is desirable. • Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently when needed. • Professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to maintaining donor confidentiality. • Enthusiasm for learning and willingness to take on new challenges. This is a regular full-time, non-exempt in person position. This position requires working from the San Francisco Chinatown office. Salary for this position is $52,000-$68,000 depending on experience. Chinese Culture Foundation of San Francisco (also known as Chinese Culture Center or CCC) is seeking a Youth Arts Program Coordinator who has a passion for arts education and developing art based curriculum centered on arts and social justice for high school youth. Our ideal candidate is a community-minded individual committed to the equity and access of arts education for youth. The Youth Arts Program Coordinator oversees Generation Chinatown, a youth artist fellowship program for multi-racial high school aged youth designed to foster a safe space for artistic experimentation and creative leadership to sustain generational cultural power for Chinatown’s future. The ideal Youth Arts Program Coordinator should have strong skills for developing youth leadership and encouraging young people to develop the necessary artistic language and skills to take action through creative works. The Youth Arts Program Coordinator is responsible for managing, planning, and implementing all aspects of Generation Chinatown. This position reports to the Community Arts Program Director. The successful candidate has extraordinary interpersonal and writing skills, and participates in a culture of ongoing learning, collaboration, and community engagement. RESPONSIBILITIES Program Design and Implementation: Generation Chinatown (85%) Plan and execute Generation Chinatown program, outreach, evaluation,and documentation: Design and implement a programmatic schedule that creates opportunities for youth to develop diverse art practices disciplines and key themes relevant to current community issues. Support Youth artists through their development as artists and their art creation. Develop and ensure learning goals relevant to the development of and learning interests of youth artists. Develop and implement organizational guidelines for youth to explore their identities, creative expression, learn about the Chinatown community, and build a sense of community with their peers and with the neighborhood. Recruit, and enroll 7-10 high school students through in school outreach, classroom presentations, and community outreach Outreach and coordinate exchanges with grassroots community networks including Chinatown residents, local Asian American & BIPOC arts community, and foster a space for youth artists to experiment across art mediums. Nurture relationships and mentor youth participants Maintain community and school partnerships as part of youth engagement Oversee program budget, supplies inventory, and stipends for teaching artists and youth Maintain records and documentation and program evaluation Document programmatic highlights, work samples, participant testimonies, and youth artists’ milestones for outreach, promotion, and fundraising use. Prepare program documentation and reports Programs Support: Chinatown History & Art Tours (5%) Support in developing arts education curriculum with CCC’s Education Coordinator Administrative support for CCC’s Chinatown History and Art Tour program for K-12 students Communications & Development (5-10%) Assist in fundraising, i.e. grant writing to ensure program is sustained Comply with grant contracts: including draft and proof grant reports, meet project deliverables Assist with fundraising to meet organizational goals, through grants, sponsorship, and donor cultivation events, including participating in other events QUALIFICATIONS Required: Commitment to youth development and racial justice A minimum of 3 years of working experience with high school aged youth, informal and formal youth arts programming Experience writing curriculum for high school students Knowledge of San Francisco’s BIPOC art and culture communities Excellent writing, editing, and interpersonal communication skills Demonstrates organization with strong critical thinking in the arts Openness to receiving constructive feedback on teaching as it relates to CCC’s educational teaching methodology Engaging facilitator with experience in coaching and mentoring students Self-starter, able to work independently, has problem-solving abilities, enjoys creating and implementing new educational initiatives Ability to anticipate and problem solve programmatic challenges Ability to work on a dynamic team – practice shared leadership, build consensus, take initiative, and build working partnerships Must pass background check Preferred: Teaching experience as an artist Lived experience or extensive working experience with BIPOC youth and/or immigrant communities desired. Background in the visual and or performing arts either through the following disciplines either through work or education: studio arts, arts education, ethnic studies, youth development, and or popular education methods desired. Experience with building meaningful partnerships with Bay Area public schools and or community-based youth organizations Bi-lingual in Cantonese preferred but not required COMPENSATION Pay Rate: $25 - $30/Hour based on Experience 15-month Contract with opportunity to renew based on program status.
