The New Conservatory Theatre Center seeks energetic Teaching Artists for after-school drama workshops and in-school residencies throughout San Francisco. Teaching Artists receive training and implement our creative drama curriculum which culminates in a short final presentation. SEE THE FULL JOB DESCRIPTION HERE: Spring 21 TA Job Description All classes will be in-person and masked. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Experience teaching youth ages 5 to 12 B.A. or B.F.A. in theatre or performing arts preferred but not mandatory Ability to travel by transit car or to school sites within the city of San Francisco Availability after-school (between 2:30-5 pm) at least one day per week (Mon-Fri). Each workshop typically meets one hour each week for 8-10 weeks. Reliable, team player, communicative, willing to learn new skills, friendly and outgoing All Teaching Artists will complete a background check and must show proof of COVID vaccination and negative TB test.
